Clara wore her first pair of shoes the other day.  With all the warm months and being mostly on hands and knees, she really hadn't needed them....but now that she's cruising more, it seems like it's time.  More pink!

 

Eleven months old

Clara is fast approaching her one-year milestone!  Ninja crawling everywhere, cruising, itching to be on the move, and so full of personality.  It's going to be hard to keep this girl down once she's really on her feet.  Here is her eleven-month photo shoot.  I couldn't narrow it down, as her expressions varied so widely in these shots, so this post is like still frames of a video :)  My dad volunteered to hold her so we could keep her in one place for photos, so he put up with one curious (and happy!) baby girl.

 

 

 

Fourth of July

On the Fourth of July we participated in our neighborhood parade and pool party.  We didn't get many great pictures, but here's a couple that try to capture the scene.  Lining up for the parade with the neighbors...

and trying to stay in the wagon :)  Clara is all over the place these days and absolutely never sits still.  You can see Mark trying to keep her from throwing herself overboard during the parade.  She's going to be an active one!  Despite their unimpressed faces in this shot, the kids did have a great time, and the day was a lot of fun.
