Misc Dec

Misc December moments...

Carlton performing in his class Christmas number.
Proud of his build (a whale!)
Carlton and Clara participating in a nativity storytelling with some dear friends.
Happy at home (Ezra must have been sleeping :)
So big!  Outside their first theater experience, a local company's production of Lyle the Crocodile, a fantastic children's book.
So little!  Yet accomplishing new things all the time.
One of our now-regular visits to Fernbank ("the dinosaur museum").
And ringing in the new year with our best buds, the Wests.  Hannah leading a game of bingo,

 party hats,
and Mark leading the bedtime stories (with all four kiddos!).  Good times.

Dinosaurs and the Great Outdoors

Glimpses of Carlton's still-strong interest in all things dinosaur.....dioramas and fossil digs.
And bundling up for some wintry days at the park.

The Pink Pig

Our annual outing with the Grosses to Atlanta's Pink Pig was a sweet time, as always.  This year's crew,
plus me and my bitty seatmate :)
Just so much to look at!
And then the much-anticipated hot chocolate treat to follow.
These kids sure have a good time together.
Dear sweet Ezra.  The boy puts up with a lot from his uber-loving sister :)

Austin for the holidays

Family time!  Austin for Thanksgiving was fabulous.  After we got there, that is.  You can see here in Ezra's face how at least Ezra, Mark and I felt about the plane ride.
But then there was happiness!
So much fun time with cousins!
And grandparents, aunts, uncles and ..... presents!
Ezra, the littlest, tried so hard to walk all week.  He made great strides (almost :), and it was fun seeing his sweet effort.
We had a great week and will miss our Texas family!

Party party party

So naturally Carlton's wish was for a dinosaur birthday party this year.

He invited five friends,

and they had a blast digging out dinosaur fossils,

creating their own geometric dinosaurs,

and chowing down on dino snacks and cake.
Mark rounded out the dino extravaganza with a rousing reading of a cute kids' dinosaur story, which enthralled all the children,
and even the littlest loved!  Ezra could not have been happier to celebrate his big brother's big day!
