Grandparent time

We were blessed with a visit from Grandma Ann and Papa over Memorial Day weekend!  Much fun was had, including some good reading time,

excursions to the park,

and some silliness.... a summer thunderstorm provided a lot of excitement.  The kids decided they needed to hide from the thunder by hunkering down on the wet front porch.  I suppose it worked.....?

Family

Wheels

Bikes are a huge hit around our house these days.  Ezra settles for the BOB until he can get wheels of his own.

Our good buddy Caleb had a bicycle 5th birthday party, and Carlton was lined up with the boys ready to go.  He was so into the race that he took a few extra laps at the end.... no stopping him!

Clara did the trike for the race, but this was the last time she rode it.  Once she saw all the other kids on big bikes, there was no going back for her.

Seven months old

Ezra at seven months!  He's discovered the swing, you can see, and he's spent a lot of happy moments in the air this month :)
