Pardon the over-posting of photos, but this happens to me every year at beach week!  I'm just going to sum up the following string of photos by saying that it was a FANTASTIC week of playing, swimming, building, jumping, splashing, relaxing, eating, laughing, and getting to know the newest member of the family (hi, Ellie!)  Such a blessing.

Eight months

Ezra at eight months!  Such blond hair and bright blue eyes.  We often get comments about how he has his own unique look compared to the rest of our family.  And he is a unique little guy!  Very quick with a smile, and full of energy.  He has a loud shriek - to be heard over the noise of his siblings, I'm sure - and he likes chiming in and being heard.  He's inquisitive, determined, and super tuned in to his siblings.  Scooting around everywhere, standing holding furniture (and almost cruising), eating well, sleeping pretty well (just waking up too early!), and generally being an adorable baby boy. 

Uncle Brian

Mark's brother Brian came to visit from Texas in the beginning of June, and we were all thrilled to have him.  Because he was solo, he was a very available playmate for the kiddos, and they loved every second of it.  Lots of reading and coloring.

Mark and Brian got out to some places for drinks, movies, seeing sights in the city..... but the highlight of all the outings was our family trip to the zoo.
