Saturday we visited the State Farmers' Market on the south side of the city for their Georgia Grown showcase, featuring agricultural products from around the state. The kids had a blast sampling new foods, watching the milking of a cow, 'riding' tractors, scribbling with sidewalk chalk, and generally running around. Unfortunately, Carlton was not in a photo mood, so all of our shots from the day show only one of our children enjoying the day's activities :)

Florida Beach Trip, Part 3
And the pool! Most mornings we explored the beach and then were ready for the pool post-afternoon naps. Clara was a little fish in the water, and Carlton also loved the antics of everyone in the pool together. Here's a smattering...

Florida Beach Trip, Part 2

Florida Beach Trip, Part 1
We spent a fantastic week at the beach with my extended family.... my parents, Kristin and Reuben, Ricky and Eden and their boys, everyone! We hadn't done a trip like that before, and it was such a relaxing week. Unfortunately there's a lot of good photos of the whole crew I'm not able to post, but still plenty to share. Here's a few random shots from around the house, and I'll follow with a deluge of beach and pool shots.
The house we stayed in (which was on the beach, with its own pool, amazing!)
On the back pool deck, beach behind us.
The kiddos 'hiding' in a favorite sleep spot.
Reuben grilling up some deliciousness.

Fourth of July
We spent one soggy, soggy Fourth of July parading with the neighbors! The rain couldn't hold us down :)
The festive parade ended with a picnic at the park pavilion.
Clara made a new friend and had fun splashing in puddles.
So thankful for our great new community!
