We got to take Aunt Kristin and Gigi to the zoo with us! So fun to have a new cousin to meet for playdates.
A little bit less fun, but documenting Ezra's first time riding in the shopping cart. Such a big boy!
And a super fun first, his first time in the backpack hiker! A great family hike along the banks of the Chattahoochee.
The best of buddies!

Fourth of July
Happy Independence Day! We were thankful for a dry Fourth this year after getting rained on all day last year.
We started the day by going with some friends to watch the Peachtree Road Race and cheer for friends who were running. The kids were excited for the new, early morning adventure.
Eating their red, white and blue breakfast :)
Carlton stood and jumped up and down by the side of the road for at least an hour, eagerly slapping hands with the runners. We had to call him back a few times as he chased people down trying to give his exuberant high fives. It was awesome.
In the afternoon we had a fun time playing water games with our good friends as we grilled out.
And the day ended with sparklers (ended at least for the two littles and me; Mark then took Carlton down to our park where they were shooting off big fireworks. His first real fireworks display!) Happy Birthday, America!
