We've finally had a few days of sunshine here in Seattle....not consistently good weather yet, but we'll definitely take what we can get. Carlton and I played down by the sound on a sunny afternoon, and he loved soaking up the sun. We're so blessed to have such a beautiful place to play and go running just blocks from our house!
At the house, Carlton found a few new toys to explore this month. He loves playing with his wooden blocks, especially when I build towers for him and he can knock them over. Classic boy. We're hoping these lunges for fun toys, like below, turn into crawling sometime!
Mark's been playing the banjo for Carlton a lot, and he decided it was time for the first lesson. We think he's a natural.
Carlton has recently started exploring his crib a lot more and comes up with all sorts of creative positions to sleep in. We took a photo on the first day that we found him stretched sideways across his crib in the morning because we got such a kick out of it. He often loves to find the narrowest part of the crib, where his mobile protrudes from the side, to wedge himself in.
