Easter festivities

It was such a gorgeous day on Palm Sunday that Clara and I sneaked in a photo before church :) 

But of course, many more photos were taken the next week on Easter Sunday.  After a wonderful morning at church, we met my extended family up at a lake near the north GA mountains for a picnic.  Carlton and Clara had a blast playing with all of their little cousins.  We captured a few family photos,

and then set the kids loose for the Easter egg hunt shortly thereafter. 

Carlton is a seasoned pro compared to a year ago, so he was not too intimidated by all of his older cousins very earnestly hunting eggs.

 Quite content with his stash.  "Yay!"
