Carlton's Fourth Birthday

We invited over five little boys for a Cars birthday party, as requested by the birthday boy.  Carlton loved having his friends over for his first 'dropoff' party, and all of the guests had a great time.  My mother and sister-in-law were there to help out, and it was a blast!

Playing with car mat and ramps at the beginning of the party.

Then we moved outside and played 'toss the bean bag in the tire'

  and ran an obstacle course with tires and cones.  Clara did her two-year-old best :)

Then we moved back indoors for a 'guess which cone the car is under' magic trick with Mark.

 

 The boys' dinner was car-shaped sandwiches and fruit cars, with trail mix. 

 

 

 

Followed by chocolate race car cake!

Much to the delight of the birthday boy...

 

 

A few gifts were opened, and Carlton felt very celebrated.

Ezra was indeed at the party, but blissfully unaware of the action most of the time :)

Thankful for such good friends for my boy!
