Snapshots

Here are a few snapshots from life here in Seattle, late July and beginning of August.....

1 - Carlton's new car seat: he outgrew his infant car seat (he passed the 22-lb weight limit!) so we had to bump up to the convertible car seat for toddlers, which can ride rear-facing like this, and can then be turned forward-facing when he's older. I think he's pretty happy with his new roomy ride.

2 - Post-work Dad time: the favorite part of the day for all three of us. Carlton even waved as I took this one!
Sometimes the fun devolves into a hair-pulling extravaganza. Fun for one of the two, at least :)
Father and son happened to wear matching outfits this day, so you know it was a photo opp.

3 - The bag game: a time-honored classic.....the empty-Mom's-bag-game. Caught in the act here, and looking smug.
4 - Visitors: Our good friends John and Sara came to visit (friends from Mark's seminary days in Birmingham) for a couple of days. We spent one fantastic, sunny afternoon down at Alki eating at our favorite pizza place.
