Every Tuesday morning, Carlton and I go to a neighborhood-based moms' group, which will continue for a couple of months. All ten of the moms in the group have children born between October - December last year. So we all are going through the same stages of raising our first children, and it's been a wonderful place to share stories, exchange tips, and find friendships. And they all live right around us, so it's great to be making more local friends for future playdates and babysitting exchanges. Once the group's official meetings are over, we hope to keep meeting together informally. We took a picture of all the kids two weeks ago, so these are Carlton's new friends. It turns out that Carlton's green bib he was sporting that day helps him stand out in the photos :)
And when we're at home, this is Carlton's little friend, Mr. Crinkles. They are just becoming buddies, so it's still pretty cute to catch Carlton holding onto him like this. Thanks, Great-Grandma Dee, for the gift!
