Visitors!

For a while now we have been looking forward to my parents' next visit from Atlanta, and it has finally arrived. Carlton and I have had lots of talks about his Meme and Poppy (see attentive eyes below), and he's been eagerly awaiting their arrival. Mark had to travel for a few days for work, so it's been a blessing to have family in town while he's gone.

So far we've had a great walk around our neighborhood in the Bjorn,

and some fun playtime on the floor building neck muscles (both Carlton's and my dad's!)

Today was a big day - Carlton's first excursion to see the downtown Seattle sights. We toured Pioneer Square and appreciated the Native American totem poles.

Pike Place Public Market is always a hit, and Carlton took in all the sights, smells and sounds with wide eyes.

He even sported his first pair of shoes for the big day on the town!

He made it through the excitement of the day like a champ, with just a few of these moments pictured below,

and the sleep of the weary to cap it off. Good times with the grandparents.
