15 month snapshots

Here are some glimpses into the life of our little 15-month-old. Carlton is one active child! After mastering walking a couple of months ago, it didn't take him long to start running everywhere - especially at the playground, where everything is so exciting.

Here he is trying to maneuver two riding cars at once....one just wasn't exciting enough.
And relishing the slide, a recent new favorite at the park.

Carlton continues to love people, never meeting a stranger. At story time at the library, he is quick to make new friends, especially when they have interesting snacks to offer. We had some play time with our little neighbor Ella recently, and they were hilarious about scoping out the other one's snack. Whenever any cheerio or cheese puff was dropped, the other was quick to recover it from the ground or table and scarf it down.
We had a playdate with my PEPS moms group recently - probably the last for us, as we only have a few more weeks remaining here in Seattle. Six of the ten of us made it, and here's the routine couch shot. Carlton and I will miss these sweet friends!
We recently received a very special package in the mail - a sweater that his Meme had been knitting him! Carlton got many compliments on his first day of sporting his new threads. And fortunately it should fit him for quite some time. Thanks, Meme!
Ready to go!
