Mark's sister Jill came to visit this past weekend from Colorado. So fun. The latter part was fun, that is....poor Jill got in just in time for the three of us Sheerins to come down with a nasty stomach virus that kept us down nearly all weekend. Jill earned some major merit awards as an aunt, sister and sister-in-law, helping us out in the thick of that. Thank you, Jill!
I believe that all of the below photos were taken on Sunday, the final day of her visit, as we were well enough to be out and about again. We spent some time at the park down the street in the morning, as we actually had a window of sunshine.
In the afternoon, we took a brief tour around Seattle, the best we could manage in one afternoon! First we strolled through Fremont, a fun, eclectic neighborhood which features well-known art such as the Fremont troll.
Then we made a stop for a very important sampling of Seattle cuisine.....Top Pot glazed old-fashioned doughnuts.
We ended the evening with some delicious northwest clam chowder. Some final shots from our last evening together....everyone finally smiling and mostly back to normal health.
Carlton showing off his new tricks to his Aunt Jill......the high five,
and the wave good-bye. Can't wait to see you again, Aunt Jill!
