Easter morning dawned beautiful here. We are still visiting churches and trying to figure out which one is right for us, and we participated in a great worship service in the morning. We took a family photo in our Easter outfits after church before the boys removed some layers for the rest of the warm afternoon.
Then we headed up to north Georgia for my extended family's gathering. Carlton got to play outside and get hot and sweaty all afternoon, and he loved every minute of it. All the people, all the activity, all the sunshine...
When it was time for the Easter egg hunt, everyone decided that Carlton should have his own special plot of land that would be all his, so the big kids wouldn't get to all the eggs before him. They even let him be the first one to start.
He was all about finding those eggs, and didn't let a single one escape his notice!
By the end of the afternoon, he was all tuckered out. My cousin Krissy offered some willing arms to snuggle with our little guy.
A bit of applesauce revived him enough to get him through the late afternoon and home....and he slept great that night :) A wonderful day.

So glad to read from you again! it's good to see that Carlton and all of you are loving life in Atlanta. It's also awesome to see your growing belly, Katie. ANd of course, it's good to see pictures of the sun!!
